Rochdale Youth Service is an innovative and forward thinking youth organisation which strives to provide opportunities for young people. We offer young people safe spaces to explore and understand themselves, their place in the community and the wider world.
We are looking for confident, enthusiastic, and passionate individuals to work with young people in leading our Short Breaks SEND youth provision; to assist in delivery of innovative and creative issue based sessions. It is important that you bring energy and passion to the job and prior experience of working with SEN young people in a youth work setting is preferred, either in a voluntary or paid capacity.
The right candidates will have the ability to critically evaluate their past sessions, with the aim of continually improving their performance as a youth worker in order to deliver the best service possible for SEN young people.
In accordance with Section 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 this post requires the ability to converse at ease with the members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
