Working Hours:  30 hours worked on a rota basis (evening, weekend and sleep ins required)

We are looking for enthusiastic, committed and proactive individuals, to take on the role as a Residential Child Care Worker to work in one of our Rochdale Children’s Homes. We ask that you have a positive attitude and the role does require an adaptable and flexible approach, and a role that is rewarding.

 

Our children and young people need care, love, nurture and guidance to help them on the route they take in life. We want to help reshape and enhance their lives and help work through the trauma they have suffered. The children want committed individuals to help them through what can be difficult times and be a part of their journey. We would like to see individuals whom are willing to go above and beyond to help enhance lives of children.

 

We are looking for someone who will be a positive role model for our children and young people and whom is committed to effectively safeguarding children and young people.

 

This role is a career and the individual with drive and passion for the role can excel in their role and there will be valuable future opportunities for personal and professional development.

 

You must be over 21 years of age and have at least 2 years’ experience working with Children and Young People. It is preferable that you are qualified to NVQ Level 3 Working with Children and Young People or equivalent.
