A full-time, permanent position is available for a Systems Engineer to work with our highly successful School’s Technical Team supporting our primary schools within Rochdale Borough through remote and onsite support. This post will support the day-to-day operational needs of the schools who have bought into the council’s technical support services.
You will need to have experience in supporting and maintaining an ICT infrastructure (including Windows server deployment, server virtualisation, LAN support, Office 365 tenancy management). Preferably in an education setting and understanding the unique security and safeguarding requirements to undertake such work.
You will be expected to provide technical advice to customers and work in a professional and courteous manner at all times. You will be expected to resolve incidents and comply with service requests within set standards for the service.
