Rochdale Music Service is looking to recruit an orchestral strings teacher to join our strings team, teaching one to one, in small groups and also class based tuition. Candidates who can also offer other instruments, for example piano or curriculum teaching will also have the opportunity to receive work in these areas if they want

ARMED FORCES INTERVIEW SCHEME

Rochdale Borough Council has Member approval to implement a proposal to guarantee an interview from ex-service personnel applicants where they meet certain qualifying criteria.
The aim of this proposal is to deliver the Council’s commitment to further ‘the Armed Forces Community Covenant’ to ensure that ex-armed forces personnel are not disadvantaged, when applying for job vacancies, as a result of their service.
Ex-service personnel will be guaranteed an interview under the Scheme where they meet the following conditions:
They must meet the essential criteria for the post set out within the Person Specification.
The armed forces must be their last known long term employer.
They have been looking for a job for between 6-24 months since they left the Armed Forces.
