We are looking to invest in an experienced, strategic thinking Children’s Social Care senior manager to continue to lead and drive forward our First Response and Complex Safeguarding Teams.
Working closely with the Assistant Director for Children’s Social Care, colleagues and partners you will have:
• Excellent strategic relational practice
• Responsive threshold decision making to ensure that children receive the right
service, at the right time in the right way
• A nurturing, supportive and collaborative working style whilst ensuring service targets
and objectives are met
• A strong track record of leading and developing high quality front line services
• A resolute focus on collaborative, partnership working to make an impact.
In this role you will have the full support of colleagues across children’s services, as well as council Members, to continue with our ambition that only “good and beyond” is good enough for the children, young people and families in our borough.
We will provide a genuine, supportive, coaching environment where leadership development is a key attribute to ensuring that you continue to develop your professional skills and build on your experience to become the best you can, as we would want for all our workers, children and young people.
