A high standard of performance on your first instrument or achievement in your own specialist area as a minimum the equivalent of Grade 8 ABRSM – cello
Demonstrable ability to teach, plan assess and keep records
Enter children for exams and provide feedback on progress as requested.
Willingness to have an enhanced DBS check and observe safer working practices and safeguarding policies.
To be able to work beyond core school hours, as required, in order to fulfil duties
Ability to teach small groups
Desirable, ability to lead and develop ensembles
In accordance with Section 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 this post requires the ability to converse at ease with the members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
Appointment to this post is subject to a enhanced DBS including a barred list check child workforce
Graduated Mandatory Unpaid Leave is applicable for this post, there will be a pay deduction from salary each month equating to 4 days per year. This will be pro rata for part time/part year employees.
