Rochdale Adult Care is pleased to offer a number of opportunities for assessment and support planners to join Adult Care Services, offering an excellent opportunity to join a vibrant and creative authority.

 

The post holder will be expected to be dynamic fast paced individuals, who have excellent written and communication skills and a willingness to learn. The post holder will be expected to be a dynamic fast paced individual, who hold the appropriate skills, experience and motivation to work with Adults and their carers, whilst working within timescales and deadlines to produce a high quality of work. In return you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills within a supportive and enthusiastic service, with opportunity to undertake a variety of appropriate training and development courses.

 

It is expected that the post holders will have some knowledge or experience of working within an Adult Care setting, strength based approaches to assessments and support planning and supporting service users and carers, promoting independence and well-being, as within the objectives of the Care Act 2014.

 

These posts would be ideal for Newly Qualified Social Workers, social work students, support workers who would like further experience within an Adult Care setting.

 

The Teams within the Integrated Neighbourhood Teams work across the following Localities and cover a wide range of work with Adults over 18.

Rochdale Central

Rochdale East

Pennine

Rochdale West

Heywood

Middleton

 

The post holder’s must be able to demonstrate an ability to travel around the Borough of Rochdale.

 

In accordance with Section 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 this post requires the ability to converse at ease with the members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English.

 

Casual User Car Allowance is payable

 

Appointment to this post is subject to a enhanced DBS including a barred list check against the adult workforce
