Oulder Hill Community School is a very successful school and one of the largest in Rochdale. A multi-million pound PFI rebuilding/refurbishment was completed in Autumn 2007 to provide state-of-the-art facilities for students, staff and the community. The school serves a large area in the west of the borough. All at the school are committed to achieving the highest academic and social standards for students and to the well-being and continuous professional development of all staff. The school was graded as ‘good’ in all categories by Ofsted in October 2012 and has significantly improved since then. SCIENCE TECHNICIAN

 

Salary: Grade 4 - SCP 18-21 (Actual Salary £15,290 - £17,040)

Hours: 37 Hours per Week – Term Time Only

 

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Science Technician to work within the Science faculty.

 

The successful candidate will possess excellent knowledge and experience of working within an educational or other Science related environment. They will work under the direction of the Senior Science Technician to support learning by providing technical assistance through the preparation and maintenance of teaching areas and equipment for pupils within the Science faculty
