An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a permanent member of our EHC Assessment & Review team serving children and young people with special educational needs in Rochdale.  The post of Senior EHC Co-Ordinator officer will give you the opportunity to work with nurseries, schools, colleges and other agencies to secure the best outcomes for children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans. You will also have line management responsibility for members of the wider EHC team.

The job objectives are:
1) To oversee the computerised system for recording and tracking Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments and EHC plans (EHCP) ensuring statutory timescales are met.
2) To manage a team of EHC co-ordinators to ensure that statutory processes are followed in line with the SEND Code of Practice and current education legislation.
3) To monitor and report on EHCP data including data cleansing as necessary
