External candidates applying for this role must be a Rochdale Resident who lives within the municipal boundaries of the Borough of Rochdale.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Administrative Officer on a 6 months temporary contract.
The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of administration duties which will include producing reports from our CRM system, preparation of statistical information, minute taking, raising purchase orders you should also be able to maintain an accurate computer and manual filing system
Our Business Unit team is a small team so reliability, punctuality and ability to work well within a team is essential. You must be able to use your initiative and have a proven record of being a confident communicator with internal and external clients
The role will also include working on our busy Reception at Green Lane this entails paperwork which relates to hire of vehicles to other Rochdale Council Services so some knowledge of vehicle hire would be advantageous.
The role will require a flexible and enthusiastic approach to a sometimes challenging work load
