Oulder Hill Community School and Language College is a very successful school and one of the largest in Rochdale. A multi-million pound PFI rebuilding/refurbishment was completed in Autumn 2007 to provide state-of-the-art facilities for students, staff and the community. The school serves a large area in the west of the borough. All at the school are committed to achieving the highest academic and social standards for students and to the well-being and continuous professional development of all staff. The school was graded as ‘good’ in all categories by Ofsted in October 2012 and has significantly improved since then. The school achieved 74% C+ in English and 75% in Maths this summer and at 34% is the highest attaining school in Rochdale for the English Baccaulaureate.

 

 

TEACHING ASSISTANT (LEVEL 2)

 

Salary: Grade 3 – SCP 14-17 (Actual Salary £11,512 - £12,193)

Hours: 30 Hours per Week – Term Time Only

 

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to work within the Learning Support faculty.

 

The successful candidates will be enthusiastic and highly motivated and will work as part of a skilled team to provide class support to children with EHC plans across the whole school.

 

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Appointment to this post is subject to a criminal record and background check.
