NJC Grade 4, Salary Points 12 – 17
Actual salary £18,889 to £20,960. (Full time equivalent salary is £22,183 - £24,491).
Full Time (36 hours 40 minutes per week, Term Time plus one week)

We are seeking to recruit a skilled Science Technician to join our Science Department.

This is a standalone role and the postholder will:
• Co-ordinate use and maintenance of practical Science resources and facilities
• Provide assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the Science curriculum
• Provide support to the Faculty Leader of Science regarding health and safety issues

The successful candidate will have the ability to support Science lessons at KS3 and KS4, have a good level of competencies in laboratory work including the safe use and storage of equipment and chemicals, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and will have a sound knowledge and understanding of health and safety regulations.
