DEPUTY HEADTEACHER

Group 2 ISR L6 – L10

Required from 1 September 2018

 

The Governors of this happy, caring and fully inclusive school invite applications from highly motivated, enthusiastic and suitably qualified practising Catholics to work alongside the Headteacher in the role of Deputy Headteacher.

 

We require an individual who has:

  • A commitment to our strong Catholic ethos;
  • A clear vision of Catholic education;
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude;
  • Ability to challenge and empower staff to be the best they can be;
  • A proven record of excellent classroom practice and a willingness to teach across the Key Stages;
  • A thorough knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum;
  • High expectations for all pupils’ attainment and development;
  • Ability to foster children’s enjoyment of learning whilst ensuring high levels of achievement;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels;
  • Proven organisational and management skills, including team building;
  • Confidence, together with a pleasant disposition, when addressing the wider school community.
