We currently have a vacancy for a project manager to join the integrated commissioning team on a temporary basis.  This is an exciting opportunity as you will be working with providers to transform the delivery of local health and social care services in Rochdale.  The role will focus on 2 key areas of our transformation programme:

Home care – following a recent tender to develop a new model of home care you will be responsible for working with the lead providers to implement the new model and ensure delivery targets are met, including managing provider relationships and facilitating partnership working within the integrated neighbourhood teams

Care Homes (residential/nursing) – as above you will be responsible for project management and ensuring delivery targets are met.  You will work closely with the wider health and social care market to take forward a range of new initiatives to help improve support for care home providers

If you have the skills and knowledge and are interested in helping to improve the quality and standard of health and social care services this may be the job for you.  As the project manager you will be part of a busy team responsible for commissioning and monitoring services.  You will need to have good communication skills and the ability to relate positively with a range of people both service users and providers.

This is an important post and offers the opportunity to drive forward new models of care as project lead for key transformation projects working in partnership with providers to help improve local services as well as helping to implement and trial GM approaches to service delivery at a local level.

We are keen to fill the vacancy as soon as possible and if you want any further details about the role please contact Dorothy Latham for further information 01706 922895 or Dorothy.latham@rochdale.gov.uk
