Meanwood Community Primary School would like to recruit a confident and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our KS2 team. This post will be based in a Year 3 class, covering a maternity leave from the 26th February 2018.

 

You will have:

· Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Learning and Teaching (Please note: Early Years or Childcare qualifications are not valid for this role)

· Maths and English passes at GCSE or equivalent Adult Literacy / Numeracy Level 2

· A genuine enthusiasm for working with children

· Some relevant school based experience with the KS2 age range

· Excellent communication skills

· A warm, friendly and caring personality

This is a temporary contract to cover for maternity leave for a period of up to 12 months.
