We are looking to recruit outstanding, enthusiastic and highly motivated Early Year’s Workers to join various Children’s Centres in the Borough:

 

·         A post within the Heywood Locality Children’s Centre’s – 37 hours per week, temporary contract.

·         Two posts within the Middleton locality Children’s Centre’s – 2 x 18 ½ hours per week posts, permanent contracts.

·         A post within the Pennine locality Children’s Centre’s – 18 ½ hours per week posts, temporary contract.

 

Rochdale Sure Start Children’s Centres are places where children and their families can receive seamless integrated services and information and where they can access help and support from multi-disciplinary teams of professionals for children and families aged 0-19 years.

 

Working to deliver better outcomes for children and their families Children’s Centres are based on the concept of providing integrated education, care, family support, health services and support with employment being key factors in determining good outcomes for children and their parents.

 

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Workers to join our dedicated team. You must be able to provide a stimulating play based environment, deliver high quality activities to children and their families and work within a multi-agency team. Some of the sessions we provide are held within the family’s home & in the local community.

 

The successful candidates will have an excellent knowledge and understanding of the development of early year’s services, working in partnership with early year’s practitioners, partner settings and parents/carers in order to meet the service requirements of the locality.

 

You will be required to have an Early Years qualification at NVQ level 3 or above.
