What you will be doing
Whether it’s working on digital engagement, events, writing content for our social media channels, developing marketing strategies or working with the media and journalists, this is a great opportunity for anyone with creative flair and lots of talent and enthusiasm.
About you
The right candidate must have a ‘can do’ attitude and also:
• Excellent written skills
• Relevant qualifications and experience
• Experience of handling multi-channel campaigns
• Experience of working with the media and journalists
• Experience of working with agencies
• Account management skills
• A good knowledge of local government
• Crisis communications skills
The job holder will need to be flexible as with most local government communications roles some work outside normal office hours may be required.
