We are seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to join our forward thinking Borough as we work together to improve outcomes for residents. Rochdale Borough has a strong history of cooperation and pioneering and we seek an enthusiastic and skilled specialist who will work well across a range of partners on our transformational programmes. 

 

You will be a member of our Joint Leadership Team that works across the Council and CCG.  You will provide expert support to our integrated commissioning work.  You will have a wide ranging portfolio of work including; providing expert input to Commissioning, leading programmes on our priority areas and leading our strategic intelligence work. You will work across all the domains of public health and with internal and external partners to effect change with regard to the determinants of Health and Wellbeing. You will report to the Director of Health and Wellbeing and you will be responsible for developing and supporting an enthusiastic and skilled team of staff.

You will have strong influencing, negotiation and leadership skills and you will be on the GMC/GDC Specialist Register/UK Voluntary Register for Public Health Specialists or be within 6 months of obtaining CCT at the time of the interview.
