30 hours per week. 8.45am-3.15pm with half an hour lunch break. Staff undertake a 30 minute lunch time supervision of children each day.

Grade 3 points 5-6. Annual salary £13,309-£13,575.

The Governing Body of Heybrook Primary and Nursery School is looking to appoint two Teaching Assistant Level 2’s on fixed term contracts to cover maternity leave.

Heybrook Primary and Nursery School is a large, multi-cultural primary school situated in Rochdale. The School currently has 684 children from 2 to 11 years of age. Our school is an exciting place to work with well-behaved children and a friendly and dedicated staff team. Our school motto is ‘Be happy, be healthy, be successful and learn together’ and as a school community, we are committed to ensuring that we achieve this for each and every one of our children.

We are looking for two enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant Level 2’s to join our dedicated team of staff to promote excellence in teaching and learning.

We are a three form entry school with a large co-located Nursery School. Successful candidates will join a very supportive year group team and be provided with high quality induction, CPD and support.

We are looking for two teaching assistant who have:

  • high expectations of learning and behaviour
  • has excellent interpersonal skills, enthusiasm and commitment to working as part of a team.
  • Be committed to ensuring high levels of achievement
  • Be committed to raising standards

These are temporary contracts to cover for maternity leave and Post 1 is expected to end on the 31st August 2022 and Post 2 is expected to end on the 15th November 2022.
