Salary: £27,468 to £29,724 per annum, pro rata

Grade: JNC points 17 to 20                                         

Working Hours:  18 hours per week                       

Contract Type:  Permanent

Rochdale Youth Service are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, and passionate individual to work with cared for Children in a youth club setting and to develop Voice work with cared for children & young people. It is important that you bring energy and passion to the job and prior experience working with young people is essential in either a youth work or social work setting.

 

The right candidate will be creative with session plans, and take the initiative leading youth sessions. They will have the ability to critically evaluate their past sessions, with the aim of continually improving their performance as a youth worker. They will have a solid understanding of Health & Safety and Safeguarding Policies within a youth work setting.

 

Appointment to this post is subject to a enhanced DBS including a barred list check against the child workforce.
