Rochdale Borough Council is seeking to appoint a hardworking, experienced and self-motivated Web Content Officers to help undertake day-to-day website and project related work.
The successful candidates will join a small but very busy, award- winning and supportive Digital Services Team where genuine passion and enthusiasm for raising standards, reputation and exceeding customer expectations is the norm.
Working closely on a day-to-day basis with the Digital Services Lead and others including colleagues and partners you’ll be expected to play a key role in producing outcome-driven website content on the council’s corporate website/s. Content will also be required to meet local, national and international world-wide website standards.
Experience of using content management systems (preferably including JADU and Sharepoint), dealing with sensitive editorial content, repurposing content using plain English, strong communications skills and knowledge of current developments in digital communications are essential.
