Contract Type:  Temporary until March 2022

Rochdale Youth Service requires sessional youth workers for its Short Breaks provision. Our Short Breaks youth sessions provide time out for parent and carers of young people aged 11 – 18 with disabilities and additional needs. We provide activities that are welcoming, safe and educational during evenings, weekends and holiday periods.

 

Rochdale Youth Service  is an innovative and forward thinking youth organisation which strives to provide opportunities for young people.  Our mission is “To support young people in their transition from childhood to responsible adulthood, encourage their social development and individual fulfilment, and help and encourage them to engage more actively in society”.

 

We are looking to recruit staff that have experience of face to face youth work, who are flexible, who share our values and who are passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential.                      

 

In accordance with Section 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 this post requires the ability to converse at ease with the members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English.

 

Appointment to this post is subject to a enhanced DBS including a barred list check against the child workforce.
