Salary: £32,878 to £38,813 per annum

We are looking to appoint an experienced social worker into the Fostering Team responsible for supporting and supervising recruited and connected persons foster carers.

 

The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of fostering legislation and practice and a ideally have a proven record within a Fostering Service; direct experience of the supervising foster carers would be an advantage.

 

As a qualified and experienced Social Worker you will be required to work within a framework for induction, supervision and professional development with the support from an experienced line manager. We offer reflective supervision, a commitment to good home/work life balance, comprehensive training and an atmosphere of support from senior managers and Council Members, as well as a host of other staff benefits.

 

You will be welcomed into a welcoming and experienced team of social workers within the fostering service.

 

In accordance with Section 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 this post requires the ability to converse at ease with the members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English.

 

Casual User Car Allowance is payable

 

Appointment to this post is subject to a enhanced DBS including a barred list check against the child workforce.
