Working Hours: 37 hours per week

We are looking to invest in an experienced, strategic thinking Children’s Social Care Senior Manager to continue to drive forward our aspirations for cared for children and to lead our Bury and Rochdale Youth Justice Service.

Working closely with the Assistant Director, colleagues and partners you will have:

• Excellent strategic relational practice
• A deep commitment to doing whatever it takes to achieve the very best for every child; working within the No Wrong Door ethos and provocations
• A nurturing, supportive and collaborative working style whilst ensuring service targets and objectives are met
• A strong track record of leading and developing high quality services which deliver great outcomes for children and young people
• A resolute focus on responsiveness and success in partnership working

In this role you will have the full support of colleagues across children’s services, as well as council Members, to continue with our ambition that only “good and beyond” is good enough for the children, young people and families in our borough.

We will provide a genuine, supportive, coaching environment where leadership development is a key attribute to ensuring that you continue to develop your professional skills and build on your experience to become the best you can, as we would want for all our workers, children and young people
