Inspirational and Outstanding Teacher needed for Year 1 Class from September 2020

The Headteacher and Governors are looking for an outstanding practitioner to join Holy Trinity’s committed Key Stage 1 team. This will be a temporary part time position covering in the Year 1 class. We are looking for a class teacher who can lead, motivate and inspire pupils whilst maintaining effective provision and high standards of teaching and learning, pupil achievements and progress.

As a Year 1 class Teacher, the postholder would have;

  • A proven record of outstanding teaching and experience in KS1, demonstrating creativity, initiative and excellent organisation skills.
  • Must have sound experience in delivering Phonics whole class teaching, preferable in a Year 1 classroom
  • The ability to further develop and enhance the high standards of teaching and learning.
  • High expectations for the achievement of every child and member of the staff team.
  • Excellent knowledge of assessment and pupil progress and the use of data to enhance pupil progress and maintain the highest possible standards.
  • The ability to work co-operatively, flexibly and effectively.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • A willingness to offer an extra curricular activity would be desirable
