Location:  Floor 3, Number One Riverside, Smith Street, Rochdale, OL16 1XU                                      

Salary: £9000 per annum training allowance for the first 12 months and then national minimum wage for the remaining 6 months.

Grade: Apprentice grade                                            

Working Hours:  37 hours p/week in accordance with the service’s work life balance scheme.   

Contract Type:  18 month apprenticeship                            

Closing Date: 31st July 2018         

Interview Date:   10th August 2018

                               

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Governance and Business Support Team (Adult Care Services, Rochdale Council) in the role of Governance and Business Support Apprentice.  Our fantastic apprentice programme is managed by an apprentice co-coordinator with the opportunity for networking and peer support with other apprentices within the service.

You will join a welcoming and busy team, providing support and gaining knowledge and experience in a number of areas including helping service users to manage their money, ensuring service users receive payment and information to pay for their care and assisting with the payments to care providers.

You will be given the opportunity to grow and develop your skills working closely with a range of colleagues within Adult Care including Social Workers and management. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain business support experience in a social care setting, many of our apprentices have gone on to gain full time employment within various roles within the authority.  The role is based in our state of the art, award winning offices at Number One Riverside in Rochdale Town Centre.
