Due to the career progression of our colleague, we are seeking a well-organised, versatile individual with knowledge/experience of working in an administration / project support role within education and/or PE and sport environment. Rochdale Borough School Games Partnership is an organisation hosted by both Cardinal Langley School and Wardle Academy that delivers the national School Games programme within the borough of Rochdale. The role is wide and varied and supports the partners, programmes and initiatives that the partnership runs for the boroughs schools, staff and pupils.

Duties will include being a first point of contact for schools, staff and parents by email or telephone, production of documents, databases, posters, fliers and certificates and updating information on the website. Experience of use of Microsoft office packages and email using outlook would be expected as is keeping records of participants, information for monitoring and evaluation the grant funded projects etc. The role also includes support for events, competitions and the holiday club as part of the partnership team.

This post is 18 hours a week term time plus 4 weeks, hours to be arranged to support the programme although flexibility to be able to work outside these hours would be required from time to time. The post is initially fixed term until August 2020 due to the School Games funding received by the host schools.
