St Peter’s Church of England Primary School is a two form entry primary school serving the local community. We are well positioned, being just off the M62, which makes us easily accessible from Manchester, Stockport and surrounding areas.
Our pupils are ‘outstandingly’ behaved, motivated and eager to learn; our dedicated, happy staff team is committed to giving them an excellent start in their education.
We are looking to recruit an inspirational and highly motivated SENCo to join our happy staff and SLT. They will embrace our Christian ethos and support staff in their drive to provide continuous improvement for our pupils with special educational needs.
This position is non-teaching, however will include intervention support. To attract the right candidate, we are flexible in offering this post as either a full time or part time post.

- have an excellent understanding of SEN Code of Practice and procedures.
- be a skilled and experienced teacher with exemplary classroom practice, and the skills to be able to coach and develop this within others
- have a strong track record in making an impact on pupils’ progress
- have excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
- be able to lead, motivate and inspire others to achieve excellence
- be able to strategically lead and develop SEN across the school
- be innovative and have a passion for high quality of education for all.
