A full-time, permanent position is available for a Peripatetic IT Tech Officer to work with our highly successful school’s technical team supporting our primary schools within Rochdale Borough through regular onsite provision and remote support. This post will support the day-to-day operational maintenance needs of the schools who have bought into the council’s technical support services.

 

You will need to have experience in supporting a variety of end-user devices, preferably in an education setting, and understand the unique security and safeguarding requirements to undertake such work.

 

You will be expected to provide technical advice to customers and work in a professional and courteous manner at all times. You will be expected to resolve incidents and comply with service requests within set standards for the service.

 

Casual User Car Allowance is payable

 

Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced DBS including a barred list check against the child workforce.
