SEND Teacher

 

Due to a Maternity Cover vacancy, the Governors are seeking to appoint highly motivated, dedicated and inspirational teachers with the appropriate qualifications and experience who can join a team of professionals working with students with a wide range of complex needs including profound and multiple learning difficulties and autism. We have one vacancy for qualified teachers to join our friendly and supportive staff team.

 

We are looking for positive and motivated professionals who will ideally have experience of working with children with autism and associated social and communication difficulties within a specialist or mainstream setting. The posts is open to candidate on route to QTS, NQTS and experienced teachers.

 

The successful candidates will:

· Be excellent practitioners with the commitment and motivation to inspire youngsters learning and development

· Be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation through imaginative and differentiated lessons which meet individual student needs

· Possess the emotional and physical resilience necessary when working with young people with a range of complex needs

· Have the ability to foster good relationships with other staff, pupils, parents and the wider community

· Be effective team players with proven ability to coordinate and direct the work of classroom support staff.

 

We are also looking for a person who has:

· Proven ability or aspiring to be an outstanding teacher with a passion to improve outcomes for all students with learning difficulties.

· The ability to plan and teach across the curriculum, experience in delivering a primary model and ICT would be beneficial but not essential.

· The ability to contribute fully to the values, aims and life of the school
