The Governing Body of Redwood School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed person to a permanent post as

 

TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 1+

32.5 hours per week term time only

Required ASAP

 

We would like to hear from you if you are someone who has the capacity to develop their skills quickly and who can demonstrate a high level of commitment to our very special young people. Redwood aims to provide the highest quality of teaching and learning to our youngsters and requires all our staff to work together as a part of a coherent team.

 

We are seeking to recruit a person who will:

  • Act as a responsible adult and assist with the supervision, personal care, welfare and keeping safe of individuals and / or groups of children and their environment under the direction / instruction of teaching and / or senior staff
  • Assist with resources and basic classroom management techniques to support their learning
  • To be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young children and young people

Who will also demonstrate:

  • High levels of dedication and motivation
  • High expectations and enjoy the challenges associated with working in this environment
  • Commitment to school improvement
  • The desire to pursue a career working with students with special educational needs and disabilities
  • A flexible approach to working with others whilst forming excellent learning relationships with students
