Salary: £8.75 per hour, Local Living Wage

External candidates applying for this role must be a Rochdale Resident who lives within the municipal boundaries of the Borough of Rochdale.

 

Facilities Management is looking to recruit conscientious and reliable kitchen cleaners to join our friendly team of catering assistants to work in our Schools and Public Buildings throughout the Borough, (Rochdale, Middleton, Heywood and Littleborough).

 

Duties include undertaking, individually or as part of a team, the cleaning of designated premised and associated accommodation to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.  Duties will include dishwashing, cleaning kitchen areas as directed and setting up of the dining room.

 

Cover will be required term time only and over the lunch-time period.  Various hours are available.

 

Experience is desirable but full training will be given.

 

 

Appointment to this post is subject to enhanced DBS including a barred list check against the child workforce

 

Health and safety regulations must be strictly adhered to
