Temporary Part Time TA3 (until August 31st 2021)

To begin 4th January 2021

 

The Governors at St. Mary’s RC Primary School are looking for an excellent Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their hardworking and dedicated staff. St. Mary’s R.C Primary is a lovely, happy and friendly school where everyone is welcome. We were rated ‘Good’ in our last Ofsted inspection and ‘outstanding’ in our last Section 48 RE Inspection. You should be highly motivated, flexible and adaptable.

 

This role will require you to lead ‘catch up’ interventions for small groups of children across all age ranges, so good subject knowledge of maths and English at Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 (or the ability to learn quickly) is required. This is an excellent opportunity for the ideal candidate and will give you great experience working with children across all age ranges.

 

The successful candidate will:

- have the ability to inspire and engage with children

-Experience of working either as a Teaching Assistant or with groups of children

-Good Numeracy and Literacy skills, at least a level 2 NVQ or GCSE level A*-C (English and Maths)

-The ability to form good relationships with children and staff

-The ability to follow direction but also to have initiative and take the lead

-The ability to be flexible and well organised

-uphold and support the Catholic faith and values
