Grade 7 - £28,785 - £32,029 (SCP25-29)

Grade 8 - £32,878 to £38,813 (SCP30-36)

Only Adult Care Social Workers who have AMHP status and take part on the AMHP rota can be approved for progression beyond the bar point of SCP34 (Grade 8)

Working Hours:   Full time 37 hours per week and also a part time position of 29.60 hours

Contract Type:  Permanent

An opportunity has arisen to join Rochdale Borough Council, to work as a Social Worker undertaking active care coordination. Based in the Rochdale community mental health team, you will be part of the Integrated Mental Health Services, in partnership with Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust.

 

The team operates a well-established multi-disciplinary approach, which offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a pioneering and creative authority, who support people to remain as independent as possible for as long as possible in their community.

 

To apply you must be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England and have experience of working in a mental health/social care setting. The post holder will work with adults with complex mental health needs within Secondary Care Services, requiring demonstrable skills in risk assessment/management and creative problem solving.

 

You will require experience of working with adult social care legislation, and commissioning packages of care, applying strengths based and outcome led approaches.

 

Adult safeguarding and Making Safeguarding Personal is a key part of the role. You will have both an understanding of the nature and importance of safeguarding vulnerable adults and the ability to apply this in practice.

 

 

Applicants who are a qualified AMHP will have the opportunity to practice as part of a rota that supports those AMHPs based within the AMHP Hub.
