Facilities Management are looking to appoint a Cleaner in Charge to work at Number One Riverside, Rochdale.
35 hours per week to be worked Monday to Friday 6.30am-11.00am & 4.30pm-7.00pm. This is an all year round contract and holidays can be taken throughout the year.
We are looking for someone who is hard-working, energetic and honest person with excellent customer care skills and the ability to provide a quality service within the busy council offices.
The successful candidate will:
• Responsible for maintaining an excellent standard of cleanliness of designated areas in the building and duties will include toilets and associated facilities against an agreed cleaning specification and good attention to detail.
• Ability to work to tight timescales is essential and a flexible approach
• Be able to work independently using initiative and as part of a team
• Able to communicate clearly with and relate positively to all members of staff
• Knowledge of Health & Safety at work
• Ability to recognise the importance of ensuring a secure and safe environment
Experience is essential, although persons with skills appropriate and a willing attitude are invited to apply.
The Council approved a number of changes to terms and conditions and it has been agreed you are required to take additional 3 days (unpaid) leave during the Christmas/New Year period, wherever possible, subject to operational requirements. The cost of these additional days is spread over 12 months or pro rata to your start date.
