Rochdale
Borough Council and NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale CCG are working in
partnership with Rochdale Provider organisations to deliver exciting plans to
integrate health and social care services to improve the lives of the local people.
Post specific:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and driven Head of PMO to take a lead role in the delivery of the Rochdale Locality Plan, Transformation and Savings Programme.
Commissioners and providers are working together to fundamentally transform care delivery in Rochdale by:
Development of Integrated Commissioning Function – providing integrated commissioning for health, social care, children’s service, prevention/public health services and primary care.
Development of Local Care Organisation – bringing together providers from across health and social care sectors to deliver the Five Year Forward View new models of care.
Transformation
and Savings Programme - delivering an investment programme of circa £75 million
in new or transformed health and social care services, all aimed at delivering
health improvements for patients and residents from the Rochdale Borough,
whilst aiming to close the financial gap.
Performance
– Supporting the delivery of integrated commissioning performance targets and
statutory duties to improve care.
The post
holder will lead Rochdale’s Project Management Office to provide effective
management, delivery and development of all PMO functions and associated
workstreams, and ensure the alignment of systems, process and resources all to
support the delivery of our Transformation and Savings Programme.
To be
successful in this challenging role, you will have demonstrable experience of
leading complex programmes, the ability to develop a team in a challenging
environment and be driven with a passion to support the development of new
health and care services. You will be tenacious and resilient with
well-developed change, negotiation and influencing skills. You will have the
ability to align others, from a wide range of organisations, towards a common
purpose.
