What you will be doing
The role involves working with internal stakeholders to ensure that our staff are kept informed of all our latest news. You will also play a key role in delivering the organisation’s workforce development plans and help bring our values to life.
Whether it’s working on digital engagement, events, writing content for our intranet or developing internal communications strategies, this is a great opportunity for anyone with creative flair and lots of talent and enthusiasm.
About you
The right candidate must have a ‘can do’ attitude and also:
Excellent written skills
Relevant qualifications and experience
Experience of handling multi-channel campaigns
Experience of working with agencies
Account management skills
A good knowledge of local government
Crisis communications skills
The job holder will need to be flexible as with most local government communications roles some work outside normal office hours may be required.
In accordance with Section 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 this post requires the ability to converse at ease with the members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
