Rochdale Borough Council is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to work as part of the SEN Assessment Administration Team. 

 

The successful candidate will support the team in carrying out administration duties around the Statutory Assessment process. This is a challenging and busy role within a friendly team.  It is based in Number One Riverside, a vibrant, modern office environment.

ARMED FORCES INTERVIEW SCHEME

 

Rochdale Borough Council has Member approval to implement a proposal to guarantee an interview from ex-service personnel applicants where they meet certain qualifying criteria.

 

The aim of this proposal is to deliver the Council’s commitment to further ‘the Armed Forces Community Covenant’ to ensure that ex-armed forces personnel are not disadvantaged, when applying for job vacancies, as a result of their service. 

 

Ex-service personnel will be guaranteed an interview under the Scheme where they meet the following conditions:

They must meet the essential criteria for the post set out within the Person Specification.

The armed forces must be their last known long term employer. 

They have been looking for a job for between 6-24 months since they left the Armed Forces.
