An exciting opportunity has arisen within Adult Care Mental Health due to the promotion of the current post holder. This is a permanent full time Team Manager Social Care and AMHP Lead working within the Integrated Mental Health Service
This role specifically supports the Head of Service Mental Health to provide assurance to the Director of Adult Social Services around the statutory responsibilities under the Mental Health Act 1983 and manages the delivery of our AMHP Hub service and interface with the Emergency Duty Team
The role has responsibilities to also manage Social Care staff within our Review function as part of the integrated Mental Health service with Pennine Care Foundation Trust .This is to ensure Adult Care core functions are delivered and statutory requirements under the Care Act 2014,Mental Health Act 1983 including Section 117 and Mental Capacity Act 2005 are met
The post holder will support the Head of Service as required to cover for the second Team Manager who is responsible operationally for Adult Care core functions within the Mental Health services including CMHT’s and Neighbourhood Teams with an all age agenda including dementia
Casual User Car Allowance is payable
Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced DBS including a barred list check against the adult workforce
