Rochdale Borough is facing a huge challenge as it works to tackle the impact of COVID-19 within its communities. Over the last few months, we have developed Rochdale’s Public Health Outbreak Plan and implemented an extensive programme of work which includes; testing, contact tracing, prevention and PPE supply and distribution to ensure that we can effectively manage the spread of the virus.

 

This post will play a pivotal part in Rochdale’s response to COVID-19. The post holder will be responsible for providing project management support to Public Health and will support the Programme Manager with the delivery of the projects as identified above. They will monitor performance against agreed schedule, identify and report risks and work to resolve challenges to delivery.

 

This is an important role in a high profile team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our team.

 

The successful candidate will have extensive project management and coordination skills. They will also be able to work under pressure managing multiple projects and be able to work flexibly out of key office hours and at weekends, if required and with prior agreement.
