Location:  schools and public buildings throughout the Borough

Salary: £9 per hour (£17,364 per annum pro rata)

Grade: 1

Working hours: as and when required

Contract type:  casual

External candidates applying for this role must be a Rochdale Resident who lives within the municipal boundaries of the Borough of Rochdale.

 

Facilities Management is looking to recruit conscientious and reliable staff to join our friendly team of casual cleaners to work in our Schools and Public Buildings throughout the Borough (Rochdale, Middleton, Heywood and Littleborough).

 

Hours are usually dependent on the units – and can vary anything from 6am-9pm including weekends.

 

General cleaning duties to include: vacuuming, brush sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, buffing, and toilet cleaning.

 

Experience is desirable but full training will be given.

 

Health and safety regulations must be strictly adhered to

 

Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced DBS including a barred list check against the child workforce.
