Facilities Management are looking to appoint a Cleaner to work at St Vincents RC Primary School in Norden in Rochdale.
We are looking for someone who is hard-working, energetic and honest person with excellent customer care skills and the ability to provide a quality service within a busy school. The ideal person should have good attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team and be able to communicate clearly with and relate positively to all members of the school community. The ability to work alone to tight timescales and to be able to work closely with the caretaker is essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining an excellent standard of cleanliness around the school and duties will include toilet cleaning, mopping, cleaning of internal glazing, vacuuming, use of equipment include scrubbers driers and buffing machines.
Cleaning experience is essential, although persons with skills appropriate and a willing attitude are invited to apply.
Appointment is subject to satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service check, medical clearance and references.
Applicants should be aware that if they are appointed to this post, appointment is to the Governing Body of the school and managed by Facilities Management.
Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced DBS including a barred list check against the child workforce
