The Governing Body of Brownhill Learning Community are seeking to appoint a Level 3+ Teaching Assistant.
The Brownhill Learning Community is an association of Brownhill School (Heights Lane Site) and the Pupil Referral Service (Darnhill Site and the Saxon Hall Site) who work together to provide education provision for school aged pupils with behavioural or social and emotional difficulties who are out of the mainstream environment.
We believe in a Learning Community where everyone feels valued, included and achieves. Our aim is to identify and meet individual learning needs through a nurturing environment.
Candidates must be prepared to work at any of the centres with pupils of all ages with challenging behaviour. You must possess a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and level 2 literacy and numeracy qualifications. Previous experience of working with children and young people in an education setting is essential. The post holders may be required to transport pupils using their own vehicle.
The successful candidates will be required to commence in post in as soon as possible.
